ThriveFunds is a web platform that connects needy American families, the "ALICE families", with donors.
These "ALICE families" represent the neediest families in America, who earn barely more than the federal poverty level and are therefore unable to benefit from state aid. Millions of Americans are affected.
ThriveFunds partners with approved community organisations to identify these families.
The founding team of ThriveFunds wanted to develop and launch their application as quickly as possible for several reasons.
Getting the application up and running quickly meant that more families in need could be helped as quickly as possible. In addition, with the holiday season being the time when more donations are made, it was even more important to get the app up and running quickly.
